GOEDUCATE

Client: GoEducate, Inc.
Campaign: CareerNAV Platform Build, Launch & Growth
Year: 2021 - 2025
Region: United States
Role: Chief Marketing & Operations Officer (Executive Team)
Building and scaling an AI-powered career platform that connects students, schools, and employers.
70K+ users onboarded · 8 regional portals launched · Multi-year institutional licensing deals
The Challenge
Students were choosing education and careers without a clear view of where each path led. Schools, colleges, and employers were all working on the problem separately. GoEducate set out to connect them in one platform. That meant selling to two very different audiences at once: institutions and employers, who pay for it, and students and jobseekers, who have to choose to use it. A product that serves everyone often explains itself to no one, so clarity was the core marketing challenge.
The Insight
Students don’t want a career database. They want to know what to do next. We built the product and the story around a simple journey: Start where you are, take a survey, discover careers, find programs, build a resume, and get hired. Every stakeholder could see their place in that path. Students got direction, schools got outcomes they could show, and employers got an early look at talent.
What I Built
-
Go-to-market, pricing, and revenue. Owned go-to-market strategy, pricing, and revenue for CareerNAV, including licensing models and packaging for institutions, employers, and regional partners.
-
Product and UX. Helped shape CareerNAV’s product direction and UX/UI, including the step-by-step career journey, AI-powered career discovery, GoResume, and the jobs and apprenticeships experience. Turned user and partner feedback into roadmap priorities.
-
Positioning and brand. Defined the positioning and messaging for each audience (students, educators, employers, and workforce agencies) under one platform story.
-
Integrated, multichannel marketing. Owned the full marketing mix: national campaigns, paid and organic social, content, email and lifecycle, events, and PR.
-
Sales enablement and demos. Led product demos and built the pitch materials behind institutional licensing deals and regional rollouts.
-
Client success and partnerships. Managed key accounts and onboarding for institutional partners, and developed new partnerships with schools, colleges, and employers, including [Sutter Health, Folsom Cordova USD, CSU Stanislaus, San Joaquin Delta College.
-
Regional Opportunity Portals. Supported the launch of localized platforms for Sacramento, North Valley, and New Mexico, tying local programs to local employer demand.
-
Team leadership. Led a five-person team and a $200K annual budget as a member of the executive team.

Why It Matters
At GoEducate I sat at the intersection of product, marketing, sales, and customer success. I learned that growth comes from making a complicated product feel simple, and from making sure every team tells the same story to every buyer.
